Regena Orr has worked with California State Parks in the San Luis Obispo Coast District for over 20 years. She has spearheaded monarch conservation efforts including organizing annual in-house survey efforts and educating staff and the public about where monarchs overwinter in SLO Coast. Her dedication to consistent data collection is an inspiration, and her vast knowledge about monarchs & overwintering sites has guided habitat enhancement & site restoration planning efforts both within SLO Coast & Statewide.
