Jan Ojerholm

Jan Ojerholm, B.S., M.Ed., University of Idaho. Jan was an elementary math and science teacher and school librarian. For fun, she likes to volunteer at places where she can share the magic and mystery of the natural world. She has planted fish in high mountain lakes in northern Idaho and was a docent for ten years at the Oceano Dunes District State Park, giving talks, leading nature and history walks, counting butterflies for Xerces Society, working in the Central Coast State Park Association mercantile trailer at Pismo State Beach Monarch Grove, and organizing special events at the grove.  She’s currently living in and learning about the plants and animals of the north coast of California.
